I just wanted to complain a bit more how unlucky i am lately when playing Steem Monsters. Seemed like the thing to do. I opened 50 damn cards and got barely a couple dollars worth. Its a disgrace! My card clicking finger is getting chopped off.

Fine. FINE! I still have Drug Snores. Almost at 0.4 STEEM per day right now. It will literally only take me 3000 years to earn myself a Lambo from playing this game. Did the math.. Lowest price of a Lamborghini Huracan is 200 000 USD. I havent intended on living past 2500 but now it seems ill have to. Thats why i got in this game.For the hoes and the Lamboes. And i aint quiting till i get them.

The
need for a comprehensive new site was a long time coming and we finally
received sufficient resources to rebuild it. Our old systems didn’t
scale with the huge interest in Liberland and our plans for integrated
e-governance. We decided to make it more efficient and more effective.
E-Residency
We
are now launching Liberland’s E-Residency program. This is a lighter
version of Liberland citizenship and it will allow you to create a
company, register a vehicle and much more. It’ll also have access to
Liberland’s Decentralized Governance system where you can provide input
on all the main topics regarding the future of our country. This is
coming very soon.
Citizenship
At the moment, we process all citizenship requests manually. The first requirement is to earn 5,000 Liberland Merits
(LLM), either through donations or service to Liberland. All applicants
who desire to be eligible for citizenship need to fill out the
E-Residency form first. You will then be contacted after filling out the
forms correctly.
OAuth
We’re
building our own OAuth, an open standard for token-based authentication.
This is an access delegation commonly used today by Google, Facebook,
Twitter, Linkedin and other systems. It will allow you to log in
securely to the Liberland registries via Liberland.org mail and
password.
API – Call for Developers
Are
you a developer? Did you wish to help to build Liberland? We will open
our API shortly and developers will have the possibility to incorporate
it into their systems.
Release Schedule
March 31, 2019 – Citizenship Registration
We
will add an identity verification process and know-your-customer (KYC)
process in order to maintain the high reputation of Liberland citizens.
You’ll be introduced to your Liberland representative (if there is one
for your country) so you can ask relevant questions and offer to help
out and volunteer. After that, you have to upload a passport photo and
signature.

registry – this will serve not only as a registry but also tokenization
of companies and serve as an addition to the Liberland Security

Lol. I mean bla bla bla, it could be fake news, but lets be serious for a second. First they list ETC that is a shitcoin and now you get XRP, kind of out of nowhere listed after Ripple had allegedly offered to lend $100 million in XRP to start letting its users trade the token on Coinbase. The firm had reportedly made a similar offer to Gemini – albeit amounting to $1 million. Seems kind of hard to believe that Coinbase would list xrp for free after being offered $100 million. (If the rumors are true) Its not unusual to see project leaders paying their way into attention by buying a exchange listing. But what that does is lead to folks not taking crypto seriously when the rich can bribe their way into anything.

The thing is that that isnt entirely true. There are laws that regulate those kinds of things in the markets outside crypto, while in crypto its happening literally everywhere. Crypto was supposed to lead us away from the corruption, favoritism, politics, put tech in the forefront, but in reality, white collar criminal activity is one the biggest aspects of crypto right now.
If getting listed was a equal playing ground for everyone when we are talking fees (Nasdaq for example) then i would have no problem. But the centralized exchanges are literally in some cases extorting money, overcharging, lying about volume, pumping certain coins and doing all kinds of other shady stuff.
And none of that has to do with Blockchain technology and everything to do with human nature.
A couple days ago a movie trailer came out for a thriller that has something to do with crypto. Apparently Bitcoin is used to launder money so they named the movie “Crypto”. I find that hilarious! haha.
Thats like calling “The Oceans 11″….. “Dollars” because they steal USD from the casino vault.
It kind of looks like this movie is written by folks that “know” only that crypto is bad and that Russia is bad so they decided to make a movie about it. Makes sense.
Theres this tendency in the mainstream media to associate crypto with criminal activity and this movie seems to capitalize on that. I mean of course crypto allows for money laundering. Just like every single other currency.
Your technology is shit if criminals cant find a use for it.
lol. Its hard to explain that to people. The only thing you can do is flip a middle finger at folks that try to associate crypto with crime as if thats the defining characteristic of cryptocurrencies.
Anyways… This movie looks a bit crappy but at least we are getting a movie made about cryptocurrencies.. Thats awesome, amirite!!! hahah. 😀
A few days ago i ran into a post by @shepz1 where he looks at the payouts he received from delegating to the SmartSteem bot.
In under 1 month, the returns have been to date 34.579 steem & 2.847 SBD.
On 4000 SP delegation.
So i looked at that and my first take was that it was kind of a poor return. I compared that to my curation gains. (My active SP is exactly 3000SP+1200SP delegated to various projects)
In the last 30 days with 3000 SP i earned 24 SP (0.8% monthly return) vs his 4000 SP delegation and aprox. 41 Steem earned (1% monthly return)
I thought i was doing pretty decent considering you always lose 1 week of curation when you cancel your delegation, and having control over your Steem power and not participating in the shit show that is the trending page, while earning comparably the same amount of Steem seemed like a much better deal.
I just wasnt aware how much better it can actually get.
So i was prancing around the comment section of Shepz1 post and i ran into a guy that was claiming much higher returns then a bot can provide. I was a bit skeptical so i replied to him and checked out his SteemWorld profile. @cryptoandcoffee. What ive seen was that he indeed was doing much better then either me or someone that delegated to a bot. In the last 30 days with 3600 SP he earned 54 SP from curation (1.5% monthly return) which is quite a bit more then what Shepz1 got from a bot.
This prompted me to think that i was doing something wrong if someone with comparable SP to mine is getting double my curation. So i asked Cryptoandcoffeee what was up and he recommended i try moving my voting to minute 12. I did so a day ago but im still waiting to see if it makes a difference. I just barely passed 5 Sp a week.
If you also checked the trending Booster post Fryst wrote you will see he claims that with booster you can make 11% back yearly and with curation you can make around 9%. Now Cryptoandcoffee is either a curation master or something strange is going on here since if he can sustain these gains, his yearly return would be 18% which is double Fyrst is claiming for curation and 7% more then what Booster can make you.
So back to my title… Can someone please help me become a curation master? haha
Ok, so im going to go out and just say it….. Im a 30 year old guy that loves Pokemon. I have more then 0 friends and i dont live in my parents basement. There basically only one other guy on Steemit im sure loves Pokemon, but since hes a whale (@acidyo) people will probably think hes “sophisticated” or likes “retro” things. Meh, double standards. Im not even a dolphin yet so ill get weird looks. No one fears dolphins. 🙁
Lol. But yeah. Pokemon were a big part of my childhood. At one point i think i had around 3000 Pokemon TCG cards. (To this day i think i can name all 151 Gen 1 Pokemon and i dont know all my cousins names) Still have a few hundred laying around. I used to go on tournaments in the early 2000s, even won around $50 on one. Was out of my mind happy. (In 10 years ill probably remember that more then my wedding day)
Most of the cards i used i won in a game we used to play in school where we would throw the cards as far as we could and then all the cards that were thrown would be collected in a pile and placed on the hand of the person that threw his card the shortest distance. Then the person that threw the furthest would hit his hand and what ever card fell face up he would win as his. (fun game) lol
So yeah. Pokemon is basically my childhood so when i heard they were making a live action movie with Pokemon i was super excited. There was a trailer a few months ago that was decent enough. But the one that came a week ago just blew me away. I know this might not represent much to the folks that never cared much about Pokemon, but when i saw Mewtwo in the trailer majestically fly up on the screen i basically achieved Nirvana. (not to use a more vulgar analogy, whoops. lol) As someone that loves movies and follows this industry, seeing that “Detective Pikachu” had some awesome stuff to show in its trailer made me extremely interested in the picture. I was already seeing multiple trilogies, a Pokemon cinematic universe growing from this. (Alright, maybe im being a bit unrealistic, lol.) But theres something about seeing the shows that defined your childhood recreated in a proper manner that excites me and takes me back to that time. I was a big DBZ, Pokemon, Gundam Wing and Sailor Moon fan (Yes! And fuck you for laughing. Sailor Jupiter FTW.)
They Screwed up DBZ with the crappy live action movie so i hope they wont repeat the same thing with “Detective Pikachu”.
Im going on forever. Just watch the trailer! Ryan Reynolds is voicing Pikachu and from what i can tell this wont be tailored completely to kids. There will be something for us big kids as well. lol
