Dutchman’s Cup – so called high dune nearby Klaipeda, Lithuania. The cliff of the Dutchmans Cap (a parabolic dune emerged 24.4 m from the sea) is constantly eroded by the beat of the waves and falls to the seaside by the slant of 20-22 meters height.

Due constant erosion time to time some large pine trees (mostly, but not only) are falling down to the beach finding their last days there before being swept away by the sea waves

Despite the positive movements of the market, STEEM does not look to behave as we all want it to.

Some people keep complaining about and seems that the number of users and activity keep decreasing…

But, is it the fault of the Steem Blockchain? is it the fault even of Steemit?

No, not at all, actually I am fully convinced that there is a direct relation between price and number of users.

Have you seen recently the “State of the Dapps” website?

This is how it looks today:

We should be happy that most of the first Dapps at the rank are built on top of the STEEM blockchain.

Drugwars, steemit, busy, nextcolony, steemmonsters, partiko, steemhunt …etc.. all of them located within the 30 first out of more than 2000 Dapps ranked.

But what I would like to show you is that all those Dapps are spiking down. Have a look to the right of the picture:

All Dapps are experimenting a huge decrease on User Activity and, the most important, when I say all I mean all of them, not only STEEM Dapps, also Ethereum, EOS, TRON, POA or whatever the name of the blockchain on which they are working on.

It is the whole crypto sphere which is struggling nowadays, not only STEEM.

The market sentiment on regards Altcoins is still low while on BITCOIN we may affirm that is improving…

EOS is not doing better than STEEM, neither ETHEREUM Dapps…

We are far from confirming the reversal of the market and still further away from the Crypto mass adoption…consider this period of time as the best moment in terms of accumulation and keep moving, once the Uptrend of the WHOLE market will be confirmed there will not be more regrets…everything will be PERFECT, also for those that keep complaining…

It is normal that with the current prices of Steem motivation and positiveness decays further than usual. These days I have to remind myself that this is a Long term game on which persistence and resistance are really the key words.

But from time to time, there is always someone with clear ideas and full inspiration to write what you need to read, fortifying your ideas and vision.

It is the case of @aggroed post about Steem which thoughts I totally share. I would recommend to all of you to read it because it will give some light to your doubts.

Please, read that post, and start long-term thinking avoiding pessimism, fear, uncertainty and doubt about Steem and get focus on this chart:

Building Minnows: New Steemian to follow and SBI Sponsoring [W1]

Since yesterday I am following @mrhill , one steemian enrolled on September 2017 but he became active on January this year.

He wrote an amazing post about running with a non very attractive title but with a good level of quality in the topic inside. He explains his thoughts and feelings about being a consistent runner as well as his opinion about Murakami’s book which I fully recommend you to read if you are a runner (“What I talk about when I talk about running”).

Besides that post, @mrhill ‘s blog looks very interesting, being a sportive man, he is an active user of @actifit, which posts have nice stories and pics inside which I appreciate more than the typical Actifit post without nothing to say but the count done.

Also he writes about Child Literature and Education, he is a teacher also, both topics are very interesting to me since these posts can help me with my children as well…

I’ve been thinking for some time on how to help those active steemians whom I consider good content creators and who are struggling on their way for becoming Minnow.

I thought for a while about delegating some SP on them but, honestly I am not a big dolphin and the current Market situation does not help a lot in order to not lose excessively my already tiny Voting Power, even if it is a temporary action. Actually, I decided that only would delegate part of my stake to someone who I consider in a really “need condition”.

I think i did the 5000 Whalestake post less then 2 months ago. Didnt really take that much to double my stake. I think i was pretty consistent getting 1300 Stake every 2 weeks.
Lately i started posting quite a bit less due to time constraints and im sad to say that as summer keeps closing in ill be posting less and less.
Summer is B to the W for me so im not sure how motivated i will be to post as often.

What i think i will do is maybe start making videos. Have some fun with it. Record myself on the open sea catching fish with dynamite, grab a pint and talk about some crap. Not the targeted STEEM based crypto nonsense… Just random crap. How Ronaldo gets pedicures and G.R.R Martin is a secret pothead.

Ugh. I wish i was remotely funny irl as i can be in text. Doesnt translate. <cry emoji>

So yeah, again….

Im above 10k on Whaleshares.
Whaleshares is great.
There are some great folks there.
I try and spread 100% votes to my whole feed as often as i can.
The devs there/here (where ever you read this post) seem great and hard working.
Im glad they are embracing other chains as well and im hopeful for the future.

The price right now isnt great but that is to be expected with such a small market meaning that anyone can basically manipulate the price which is the reason why the price is so low. But it can also work the other way. Someone with only a couple thousand USD could change it all up.
Hoping to see the big Whaleshares change soon and a listing on a few exchanges. 🙂

Seems that finally “marketing” starts from today

Yes, seems that finally the people from Steemit Inc. have decided to do something, somehow diffident for the moment but definitely dedicated to promote Steemit beyond the borders of Steemit itself…

They have created a new account called @steem.marketing from which they want to promote the Social Web Steemit at Twitter.

Many people are right know commenting in the announcing post, the majority of them are supporting the new initiative, some others ironically complaining about while also in favor, because, of course, no one can be against it…

To tell you the truth, I am expecting even more efforts on the Marketing side from Steemit. Promoting Steemit and more lately Steem as well have been done for many long term steemians till now while Steemit contributions has been almost zero at Twitter.

Steemians as @nathanmars , @stephenkendal , @theycallmedan they are really working hardly already at twitter , spreading the Goodness of the steem blockchain anytime and in every place.

Now, they want to start from the “basics”…that’s fine but, come on! WE HAVE TO REACH THE WORLD HERE!!!!

Could you tell us what will be the name of the Twitter account to follow in order Re-Tweet your Marketing Tweets?

I hope this is only the beginning of a major Marketing Plan so, please @steem.marketing team, do nice ads, share your twitter account, call the community for spreading your message and it could be a good start!

Watched Avengers: Lamegame last night // SPOILERS

Alright. It wasnt that bad. 🙂 The title was for drama effect. haha

But it wasnt great.

I could have lived with any other path they might have taken except the time travel gimmick. Its just dumb. They way they dealt with everything was extremely cheap and leaves so many questions open.
The one comic book movie that did time travel well was “X-men: Days of future past”. Here it was just lazy writing.

Not only did the time travel make zero sense, they undersold the fact that they figured out time travel and explained it extremely poorly.

We can now time travel, aint that great.

When they do that they cheapen everything. Thanos (The original timeline one) was killed off ending his arc, but then is brought back as villain with “kill all mentality”. The Infinity war Thanos was magnitudes more interesting.

Then they mix Gamora from the 2014 with the Guardians of the Galaxy from the present meaning the “now” Gamora is dead and gone. Does this Gamora go back? Does she stay? Do we just forget about the original Gamora? Will they do “Search for Spock” type Guardians movie next?

How many timelines did they create if the past Thanos dies in the future and doesnt get to do all the things he did?
How did Thanos even stand a chance against the Avengers without the gauntlet when they were on par with him when he had all the stones. Thanos is just some big guy without the stones.

And what the hell is with the Captain Marvel chick? She disappears at the beginning then flies in to save the day. She can fly through ships apparently. Is she the most powerful superhero now?
I dont think Thor or Thanos can do what she did.

How the hell can Ironman hold the gauntlet if it took all the Guardians of the galaxy to hold one stone and StarLord is part god?!

It seems to me that they simply wanted to wrap things up. They didnt seem to care if it made sense or not.
There were arcs to close and contracts ending.

In the end i find this a decent enough ending but they did drop the ball since Infinity war. The Marvel movies were never “smart movies” but what they did here was make it pretty stupid if im honest.
Shame.
