BRAVE Browser Rewards, by when?

Forget me if I missed something here but, I have just read a post on this topic written by @g-dubs regarding the possibility to “Get paid for viewing Ads using the Brave Browser” and on which seems that, from yesterday, this functionality should be already working on the browser…

The thing is that I didn’t notice anything different today…

Clicking on the “Brave Rewards” only shows me the same “Coming Soon” about it…

I have checked the software update feature and it is not indicating anything new also.

…or perhaps it is because I am using the LINUX version?

Any BRAVE BROWSER user to confirm if it is working or not?

Cheers

STEEM on sales, let’s take advantage with @actifit

At this time, some of you may know already that you can exchange your AFIT tokens for STEEM using the service your AFIT wallet at actifit.io .

After reading an amazing analysis on the @actifit app, written by @dalz, do not miss to read his post: “Actifit Q1 2019 – Activities, Users, Delegations” , suddenly I realized that I have never tried to exchange AFIT for STEEM.

According to @dalz, “You can trade a max of 20 tokens and receive an upvote worth 0,036$ per token.”

actifit.io wallet instructions for the exchange are simple and very safe, first the app ask you to set a password for the exchange:

and then the only “little” problem is that you have to send a tiny fee :-)…

This “fee” is 1 STEEM/SBD (at least…) but is only one time fee.

I have sent my 1 STEEM token using the app which does the process by steemconnect.

After having waited 1 minute or so, I am ready to exchange 20 AFIT tokens (20 is the maximum number of tokens you can exchange) for 1.11$ Upvote of STEEM which is much more than the current price of the 1 STEEM I have spent in the “one time fee”.

Immediately after, there is a message telling me that I am in the 315th position of the queue and that the upvote should take place within 96 hours from now, to be done on the most recent actifit post not yet rewarded.

Besides that, considering how STEEM is performing lately (price is falling even if BTC raises), this “fee” is really peanuts today, especially knowing I have seen 1 STEEM reaching more than 8 USD in the past, so, I do not see better moment than today to set up my “AFIT to STEEM channel” .

All the process has been very easy and really fast. I have to congratulate again @actifit Team for the VISION and Business Plan developed here and for the constant project deliveries, improving with each upgrade several aspects not only of the technology but also regarding mass adoption and economical plan.

The 50/50 curator/author split is a “thing” again.

Im going to keep this brief. Every once in a while someone comes up with a “big” idea and they present it. It doesnt matter if that idea is horrendously stupid, it doesnt matter if the outcome of implementing that idea completely counters the initial hopes stemming from the proposal.

All that matters is who said it.

And that is fucking scary even though i knew this before i started up here.

I can say that this type of mob behavior stems from crypto being a “WILD WEST” or sorts, but the truth of the matter is that it all goes back to basic human behavior..
We just love the “cult of personality”.

What this means is that the community isnt able to discern smart ideas from stupid ones. They value opinions based on standing in the community, or SP, or reputation ,or some other metric that has nothing to do with the value of the actual idea..
Willingness to accept arguments based on their merit is a distant thought.

If im being honest, its the same thing as in real life.

The bandwagon has arrived. The loudest community members (curators) are pushing their agenda, the leeches are staying quiet because this wont affect them in any way whatsoever …. and then you have the very “stupid” ones who cast their vote based on what is best for the platform.
They get screwed the most because there dont really subscribe to any Steem interest group.

Fuck them! They think for themselves, we dont need folks like that, theres still room on my bandwagon.

A few thoughts as always. hehe If you think im wrong, please feel free to counter anything ive said.

… and ill see you around.

Keep on!. 😀

My portfolio is performing poorly and its making me sad. :)

The market right now has shown me one thing. Im being too subjective about the tokens i hold.
Instead of adjusting my expectations to what i know about the market, i hodl. hehe.

STEEM:

Im of the belief that STEEM is extremely undervalued and that it should be up in the top 10 tokens. But i know as well that the market doesnt see it that way. I also know that there is sense to the market nonsense.

BNB is a good example of this. You could say BNB is similar to STEEM in a way, as their price is derived from the attention they get (you could make the argument that is the case with every other token). The difference being the structure of the attention. STEEM community is filled with lower income individuals looking to empower themselves. The Binance community on the other hand is filled with whales, more then any other crypto community.

BNB by itself is not a revolutionary or even slightly innovative cryptocurrency. Its “real” value is low.
BNB can do nothing for mainstream adoption unlike STEEM that at the same market cap could potentially bring in hundreds of thousands new crypto users.

The market doesnt really care though, and i know that…

Take another example…

WLS:

When i just started up on Whaleshares and i was researching WLS it was almost obvious that WLS would go down to 1 or 2 cents. We even discussed it in the COM discord server.
When your token has such a small reach due to being open to trade only on 1 exchange with only 1 trading pair there comes a point when the pool of users that can be introduced to your token dries up. Since over time the current Whaleshares users accumulate WLS and there arent more users coming to trade the token or buy to power up, the WLS price drops significantly.

Not only that, but with such a small market cap it becomes extremely easy to manipulate the market.
My fear is that if WLS remains only on Bitshares we could see prices go lower then 1 cent.

Instead of taking into account all that, i decided not to powerdown my WLS and the small amounts i did i just reinvested it right back in..

I think i need to stop getting “emotionally attached” to tokens. hehe.

Just a few thoughts as always. Most then anything, telling myself more then anyone else that i shouldnt get so emotionally attached to tokens. 😀

Ill see you around. Keep on!

Early EXIT

It has been 69 days since I started playing and investing on Drugwars.

During all this time drugwars team have been changing almost weekly the rules of the game, I want to think that they have tried, at least with the first updates, to solve what was clearly in my opinion a Ponzi Scheme since the beginning. But not.

The last change for me is the last straw. You are not rewarded anymore with STEEM but with FUTURE token. Of course you can exchange them for STEEM in their internal market but what you get is very little for the effort you have to put by playing intensively a game that instead of fun it’s pretty boring honestly…

Even worst, if you try to buy FUTURE token you will see that 5000 FUTURE tokens costs almost 60 STEEM:

While if you want to “exchange” them by STEEM you get 3.223 STEEM

Also, if you do some simple math you will see that the reward pool has artificially changed dramatically.

Today’s prize is 68680 FUTURE Tokens, taking into account that you “can” get 1 STEEM per 1552 FUTURE tokens it means that the prize is 44 STEEM to be divided among all the players. And if you see the percentages in the above pic (4+2+2), it seems that it only corresponds to the 8% of the Daily total… The 92% or 509 STEEM is going directly and Daily to Drugwars…

I spent so much time playing on this game and believing that it would improve with the time but seems that what is happening is exactly the contrary.

They announced as well future developments and mini games as well but I don’t think they will manage to escape from the PONZI scheme system neither on them.

I am lucky because I get back all my investment in the first weeks of the game and I also got a good profit from that investment but, frankly, I tested the new rules of the games in an intensive manner yesterday and, as a conclusion, I don’t think is worth to “invest” more time on the game for the very little and unbalanced rewards you get.

However, I think it has been a good testing lab and good Repository of Lessons Learnt for future Gaming Dapps on top of the STEEM Blockchain, specially because DRUGWARS was not a Decentralized App. at all :-)…

I hope FUTURESHOCK will learn about their mistakes and finally deliver a product with a better plan and sustainable business model for everybody, not this one of course…

@toofasteddie

Game of Thrones is about to go ballistic.

Image result for white walkers

Watched episode 2 a few mins ago. I liked it because im a fan but if im being objective the episode was pretty boring.

A lot of holding hands and dark rooms. Goddammit, everything is super dark. Cant see anything. Had to raise the brightness on my TV and pull up the curtains.
I wasnt a fan of how they dealt with the “reunions” if i look at writing alone but seeing the characters together did feel good.
Im starting to feel that Game of Thrones is experiencing the “end of series weakness”.
Show runners under pressure to wrap up everything lead to holes in story telling.

But lets see what happens. I wouldnt want main characters to just die in battle for the sake of shocking the viewers. And i feel that might be the case. Every single major character up to this point died in a meaningful way plot-wise.
If they kill them off next week in episode 3 in a “simple” battle i will be extremely dissapointed.

Whatever happens next week will be “balls to the wall” 24/7 excitement. And ill be up at 2 AM waiting to pick up the show the second it goes live no matter what. Still…. Hope they dont fuck it up.

Game of Thrones is coming to an end. Hoping the new Lord of the Rings series can take its place.

Ill see you around.

Keep on killing them White Walker. 😉

Flies away….
