And the Leaders Continue to Lead $LTC $EOS

Cryptocurrency is ripping higher today, likely due to the fact there are more buyers and sellers as price breaks through overhead resistance. I am sure Binance deposits being open again will be the media tale, but that is all it is, just a tale.

we have been on this move for months upon months and are still hammering hard. Accumulating from late 2018 to mid March 2019 has proven to be the right move. Resistance levels are being shattered and shorted are getting squeezed. It is good to see the media stay away and I am sure they will be

Crypto Market Action – Have You Learned from the Past?

Figured we’d change it up a bit a do a little self reflection given the recent action in the crypto market.
Lessons Learned and how to Proceed
If you have been in the crypto market the past couple years you have taken quite the ride.  We had the highest of highs and the lowest of lows.
But did you learn anything from it?
I know I have learned a few things and will be ecstatic if I can execute on them even just a little bit.
Moves seem to go further than the targets
One thing I noticed in the last bull market and then even

BTC Hitting our Price Targets and Testing 6800 for Support

It has been quite the ride for BTC the past few days.  Upside targets of 6,800 and 7,400 were both hit before seeing a pullback to the first level.
Reformulate the Plan
Now that the above items occurred it’s time to review and know what to look for next.
Looking at the chart in this post you can see that 6,800 prior support came into play on today’s pullback and price proceeded to bounce right off of it.
That is a bullish piece of price action as attempt number one to recognize that as a support level succeeded.
Going forward this is the downside level

Bitcoin Pushing Higher Than Expected

Few days back I played devil’s advocate with the price of bitcoin.   Throwing out the idea that maybe, just maybe it would fail around 6k since everyone and their brother was positive it was going to breach it.
Higher and higher she goes…

Price is currently trading near $6,400 and has been up three straight days.   The new daily candle just kicked off and the buyers still seem to be out.
So where does it go?
Looking at the chart you can see we have a level around 6,750, thus that would be the next upside target I’m keeping my eye on.
However, we could

Price of Steem Firmly Entrenched in the Bottom Range

Over the past 6 months or so we have seen steem trade within three different ranges.  Recently price broke down into the bottom range after spending the first quarter of the year there.
Where are we and what now?
If you look at the chart in this post you see that price dropped below that 40 cent area support and then failed to breach it on two intraday attempts.
This unfortunately is confirmation of that breakdown and price has traded down accordingly the past few days.
Now we sit in the middle of this bottom range of 40 cents to 22 cents, firmly entrenched.
There

Playing Devil’s Advocate with Bitcoin

Maybe popular opinion scares me, maybe I believe in the psychology of markets and maybe that is why I’m worried about the upside for bitcoin.
Well, that seemed a bit dramatic, but my point is sentiment seems to be high at the moment and everyone is sure bitcoin is going to push 6k.
Herd Mentality
Whenever the majority of people are onboard with something when it comes to speculative investment it makes me hit the brakes.
Don’t get me wrong – there are plenty of reasons to be bullish on BTC in the near-term and I’m not saying I am not.   Shorts seem to

Take a Coin Flip on LTC at the $75 Level

Couple days back I spoke about the price of Litecoin and how it’s knocking back and forth at this 75 level, a former support then resistance now maybe support again.
Any one have a quarter I can flip?
As you can see in the chart price is right at that level as I type this and I’m going to take a gamble.  The reason I say gamble is there really isn’t a clear entry signal.
Basically we just got a little stair step up above the level again and now price is either preparing to stair step up again or go back below

STEEM is Back Down to the All Time Low Against BITCOIN

The past two months have been pretty ugly for the price of steem against bitcoin, yikes!
Back at the low, now what?
The chart within this post is that of a weekly timeframe being we had to go back sometime to find this price level.  The all time low set back in in early March of 2017 is being revisited.  That low price bottomed out at .00005750 satoshis against bitcoin.
Price is currently sitting at .00005871 after another down move today.  At this point it is inevitable that we touch that 5750 low, what happens from there is anyone’s guess.
Steem has been in

Litecoin Playing Ping Pong with the $75 Level

This $75 level for litecoin has been rather interesting.  Last summer it acted as a key support level before breaking down.  Recently price finally broke back above it only to fall below shortly after….
Here we go again
Looking at the chart in this post…
After dumping down to $66 price rallied to test that $75 area again and ran out of gas for a couple days only to push through it today, that test followed by a small red day or two and blast off higher is a classic bullish price move.
However, I’m not sure that I want to wave a victory

Bitcoin Price Analysis on a Long-Term View

Looking at a much larger time frame can give perspective.  A fellow crypto investor pointed out the monthly chart on BTC yesterday and I thought it was something worth giving another look.
The Bear Has Been Broken
If you look at the monthly chart of bitcoin in this post, you will see that long-term downtrend has been broken (identified by the blue trendline).
This occurred with the April breakout and now May is looking to be a third month of gains.  We shall see how that plays out, but price action does look a whole lot better than just two months ago.
