No Kevin, Bitcoin will NOT bite the dust – Part 3

On Sunday I wrote about an article written by economist/financial expert Kevin Dowd. It discusses why Bitcoin will become worth nothing. I disagreed, but I did not say why he was wrong. Now I am doing just that.

After I finished formatting my counter-arguments, in true Bit Brain style, I realised that they were longer than expected. This is why this is the third post of the series, the one which debunks Kevin’s second argument.

You have to have read the first post for this one to make any sense. You may find it here: https://mentormarket.io/bitbrain/no-kevin-bitcoin-will-not-bite-the-dust/.

Bitcoin Technical Analysis: PRICES SPIKE, BUT DON’T GET COMFORTABLE YET

Bitcoin’s price spiked from a low of $3,480 to $3,700. It’s currently trading around $3,670 on Coinbase. We know $3,600 was acting as a strong support before prices dropped 2 days ago. Often when a support is broken, it starts acting as resistance. In this case, when price spiked, $3,600 did not act as resistance. This gives bulls some hope for a larger rally. Let’s now see if $3,600 starts acting as support again.

This latest rise in price also came with a drop in long positions. In other words, traders to profit. This is a healthy sign.

Unfortunately, overall daily volume

No Kevin, Bitcoin will NOT bite the dust – Part 2

Yesterday I wrote about an article written by economist/financial expert Kevin Dowd. It discusses why Bitcoin will become worth nothing. I disagreed, but I did not say why he was wrong. Now I am doing just that.

I have finished formulating my counter-arguments, but in true Bit Brain style, they are longer than expected. Thus I am further subdividing this post into two – I will discuss his two main arguments in one sub-post each.

Bitcoin and EOS Technical Analysis: WEEKEND UPDATE

Bitcoin is consolidating right on top of the $3,600 support zone. Should price decisively break below $3,600, the next relevant area of support is between $3,400 and $3,250.

In my last EOS update, I pointed out the larger wedge it was consolidating in. I told you it would likely make a larger move as EOS approached the apex. The following day, price broke down from $3.00 to as low as $2.30. It then sightly rallied to the $2.45 support zone. EOS continues trading around $2.45 at the time of writing this update.

In today’s video analysis I discuss, where prices may be

EOS Technical Analysis: Is EOS Preparing to Move?

EOS has been consolidating for over a week now. It’s being squeezed within a wedge and looks like it may make a larger move in the next day or 2.

The 4 hour RSI is also being squeezed, suggesting a larger move to come.

In today’s video analysis I discuss, where price my be heading, traps to avoid and so much more. I hope you find it helpful.

Bitcoin Technical Analysis: QUICK UPDATE…More Watching and Waiting

Bitcoin remains above $4,000, which is impressive considering how weak overall volume has been.

Long positions remain stacked while short positions continue to fall off.

Bitcoin Technical Analysis: TESTING KEY RESISTANCE…AGAIN

Bitcoin broke up and out of the wedge it was consolidating in. It found resistance right inside the golden pocket (between the 0.618 and 0.65 fib) I’ve discussed in the past. While we’re seeing a small increase in volume, overall daily volume remains fairly weak.

Looking at the daily chart, price is bumping up against the upper Bollinger band. This, along with the golden pocket, is providing a strong area of resistance.
Bitcoin is now above the 50 Day MA on the daily chart. Let’s see if today’s candle can close above the 50 Day MA.

Bitcoin Technical Analysis: PRICE RISES BUT VOLUME REMAINS WEAK

Bitcoin has broken out of the wedge it’s been consolidating in over the past couple weeks. It’s risen from $3,690 to about $3,900 at the time of writing this post.

We aren’t yet seeing the kind of volume we need to sustain a bull run. Currently overall volume is just above $5.2 Billion. I’d like to see it at least above $8 Billion on a consistent basis.

Shorts have dropped, while longs are stacking fairy significantly. If longs continue to rise and volume remains weak, market makers may drive price down to liquidate these new long positions.

In today’s video analysis I discuss,

Is Bitcoin Setting Up For an Explosive Move to Bring in the New Year?

Bitcoin continues to get squeezed, creating higher lows and lower highs. Overall volume remains weak. As price approaches the apex of the larger wedge it’s operating in, we should prepare for a larger move.

Looking at the 4 hour RSI, we can see it’s also getting squeezed. This also suggests a larger move to come in the next 24-48 hours.

In today’s video analysis I discuss, traps to avoid, possible trade scenarios, short term price movement and so much more. I hope you find it helpful.

Bitcoin Technical Analysis: CONSOLIDATING BEFORE NEXT MOVE

Bitcoin continues to consolidate just above of the $3,800 support on Coinbase. Volume remains low overall, which is a bit concerning. Price is being squeezed as the bulls and bears fight for control. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a larger move in the next 24-48 hours.

Looking at the daily chart, we see price is hovering right on top of the 21 Day EMA.

In today’s video analysis I discuss, various scenarios to prepare for, where price may be heading next and so much more. I hope you find it helpful.
