Forex Analysis Report – 6/11/19…Downside Risk On USD/INR(Rupee)

The rupee will fall further against the U.S. dollar over the next 12 months than previously thought, hit by slowing growth momentum and an escalating global trade war that has recently threatened to engulf India, a Reuters poll found.Last year, a deep sell-off in emerging markets and a widening domestic fiscal deficit, exacerbated by rising oil prices, pushed the rupee down nearly 9% and that weak trend is not expected to change over the coming year.A trade conflict between the United States and China, which shows no signs of being resolved anytime soon, will probably put further pressure on risky

Currency Analysis Report – 6/10/19…First Signs Of Cracks In The US Dollar

Lawmakers, business executives and economists have all tried to warn President Trump that his trade policies could hurt growth. On Friday, the government reported that employers added just 75,000 jobs in May, a fact that will be hard for him to ignore. The increase was a far cry from what economists had expected and a fraction of the number of jobs created in April. The weakness was most evident in sectors that depend on exports, and analysts were quick to blame Mr. Trump’s tariffs on China and other countries. The new data from the Labor Department also increases the likelihood that

What I like about the price action is the downward direction since 2018.

Lets zoom in for the trade set-up. What I like about the zone is the stack of sellers on top of each other and the explosive move out of the zone before the pull back.

US Dollar Smart Money Sentiment 6/2/19 – A Contrarian View & Bet To The Downside

The dollar’s rally may be approaching an end as pressure mounts on U.S. President Donald Trump to strike a trade deal with China, according to Brandywine Global Investment Management LLC.The money manager, which oversees $72 billion, is banking on this view to short the greenback and buy some of the biggest casualties of the trade war, including the Australian dollar. Rates are PUKING! $TNX

Rates have been getting absolutely smoked on these tariffs and the woes. The rates hikes HAVE BEEN off the table and are now 100% for the foreseeable future. In fact we may see a cut soon. This has caught me a little by surprise. After nailing the “generational bottom” in 2016 and calling the rip to 3.0+, then calling the move back until 2.5-2.6, I really thought that we would stop going down here.

So far, this has not been the case. 2.14 is heading back towards levels not seen since Q3 of 2017. And guess what? This is not

Currency Analysis Report – 5/31/19…Swiss Franc Setting Up For A Position Trade

Swiss economic growth accelerated more than economists expected in the first quarter, joining the upturn seen across much of Europe at the start of the year.Even with the strong first-quarter showing, there’s downward pressure on the economy amid a global slowdown and escalating trade tensions that have hurt business confidence and demand. In Switzerland, the manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index is at its lowest since 2015 and the KOF’s business situation index has fallen for five straight months. The Swiss National Bank has also warned of the likelihood of Switzerland suffering from the impact of trade tensions. One major repercussion could be
