Bit Brain’s not-so-little guide to Holochain – Part 2

This post is part of a series which started yesterday with “Bit Brain’s not-so-little guide to Holochain – Part 1” (an introduction to Holochain). Part 1 is necessary reading before carrying on with this post. Today we look at what is probably the most important part of how Holochain works: the characteristics of, and differences between Holochain, Holo, Holo fuel and HOT.

Bit Brain’s not-so-little guide to Holochain – Part 2

Holochain, Holo, Holo fuel and HOT

Now that we’ve warmed up, let’s get into a little more detail:

Don’t go to CoinMarketCap and search for “Holochain” – it isn’t there. But what you

Bit Brain’s not-so-little guide to Holochain – Part 1

My complete guide to Holochain (HOT). It’s not a blockchain, but it is a cryptocurrency.

On the 1st of this Month I published a short post in which I explained that I had been rather busy, busy entering a blogging competition. The topic was “Holochain”. Being myself, I wrote a rather detailed article. Unfortunately, as per the rules of the competition, I was not allowed to publish it anywhere else until after the competition. Good news! The competition is now over and I can share my guide to Holochain with you!

Before I do that; my congratulations to all the winners and

A Bounce is not just a bounce

BTC took a big dip less than a day ago. Unlike other recent dips, it didn’t stay there for long…

The recent BTC dip was significant in size: A drop from around $3894 to $3742 (a $152 difference – BitMex prices) within an hour is a relatively major drop. On any other day, a 3.9% drop in BTC price would be a considered a bad day. This day was different.

Whereas the norm for BTC is to stay at the new level after a sudden price drop or rise, BTC started recovering instantly: regaining and then passing the starting level (of the

BITCOIN: Volume is rising

Yeah! the market is experimenting a substantial increase on the Trading volume. The value today, more than 11 Billion USD, is similar to the values played by the end of December 2017 and, in my opinion, this is good, very good!

After having passed one year with an average
of less than 5B USD, since mid of February the trading volume has had a
clear increase trend and we are now in the values we all want to see.

Additionally, it is obvious for any TA analyst and Pattern Recognizing user that we are entering in another interesting area which would clarify

BTC – 08 March

A quick look at what BTC is doing

In the short-term BTC is channel bound within an ascending channel. It seems likely that this state of affairs will not continue for too much longer. I say that based on the length of similar channels in the recent past. I expect a sudden rise or dip before BTC forms a new channel with the same East-North-East price movement.

The chart below looks back about three weeks and shows how this East-North-East price movement has been prevalent in all major recent channels. It also shows how long the channel bound price movements remain intact

A “Vibrant” crypto that may explode up in short!

Today I am going to change my usual update on the major Cryptos since
the situation on all of them are more or less steady state right now,
despite IMO I am confident in the sense we have touched already the
“Ground” of this Bear Market.

I would like to talk about a
veteran crypto among the first 100 of the Total Market Cap which is
presenting a very positive scenario and on which I have bought this
morning a bunch of them since I see a lot of potential for growing up.

The crypto is FACTOM (known formerly as FACTOIDS) and

Crypto is dirt cheap.

Volume continues to climb steadily (since May last year – as shown at the end of this post from yesterday). Capitulation happened four months ago.  Yes folks, “capitulation” is what you call it when an asset like BTC sheds 85% of its value. To those who still expect “lower lows” – I just shake my head. An 85% drop wasn’t enough for you? How about some other cryptos then? My $195 NEO became $5.50 NEO. That’s a 97% drop – and STILL you want “lower lows” before investing?

Get REAL!

I’m buying in. I think this is a great opportunity and I’m making the most of

Crypto – return of the contrarian indicator markets?

Read carefully, If I’m right about this then it’s big news.

As an asset class, cryptocurrencies have yet to establish their independence. They have yet to prove themselves to the markets of the world. I think that the time for crypto to gain serious recognition and credibility in the eyes of the world may be upon us.

For the purpose of this article I’m going to use Bitcoin as a representative of cryptocurrencies as a whole.

History

In the past BTC has tracked the movements of the major stock market indicators. After studying this phenomenon for some time, I found that it seems to

Flying under the radar

Cryptocurrencies are, by their very nature, a more secure and independent form of money. Nobody should be able to monitor your cryptocurrency related activities if you don’t want them to. This includes government agencies like intelligence services, tax agencies and central banks. These entities will try to obtain your cryptocurrency information against your will. As a crypto holder and trader, how do you keep them at bay?

The solution is in the title of this post: you have to keep your crypto dealings largely under wraps.

Why am I writing this?

For those having a moral conundrum with this topic, those who

Bitcoin – The future becomes clearer

Old age is difficult. I went to my PC to type my blog post – topic firmly in mind. After finally catching up on all recent post comments, other interesting posts and typing a few replies… … I had no idea what my topic was anymore. Fortunately I keep a long list of “topics I will one day get to” – so I opened up my list and picked one. As I was about to start typing, I glanced at the BTC chart and noticed something I hadn’t noticed before. One more topic change later and here we are! Today
