Will George Soros Be Right About The Euro Too??

George Soros became one of the most famous currency traders in the world based on his bet against the Bank of England in 1992 on what became known as Black Wednesday, where he made over $1 billion on the trade.

In the months leading up to Black Wednesday, George Soros had been building a huge short position in pounds sterling. He recognized the United Kingdom was at a disadvantage when Britain joined the ERM, believing the rate at which the UK was brought into the Exchange Rate Mechanism was too high.

Black Wednesday occurred in the United Kingdom in September of 1992,

The Time vs. Money Conundrum

I’ve talked many times before about the value of time vs. money.  Still I find myself at times falling into a trap and thinking, what the heck am I doing right now?
Property Turnover
Anytime I need to turnover a property to either get it rent ready for a new tenant or spruced up enough to list and sell I call my contractor.
He’s pretty decent and is a jack of all trades.  Problem is he is a one man wrecking crew, which means only one thing can be done at a time.
This is where I come in.  I decide to convert myself

Such a cool business model, but really this is the world we love

Best Buy Validates Their Turnaround Story

Best Buy Validates Their Turnaround Story

It was just six months ago that I wrote about Best Buy,

Best Buy’s Turnaround Story

Best Buy’s prices weren’t competitive. Customers would go to the store, touch and feel the product, then buy it online. So Best Buy implemented a price-matching policy, both in-store and online, while also lowering its prices to be more competitive.

Best Buy started shipping directly from the stores with the store employees packing and shipping online orders which gave customers access to more product and inventory and reduced shipping time and cost.

Hubert Joy expanded Best Buy’s services, which included an in-home advisory

Bitcoin Technical Analysis: CONSOLIDATING BEFORE NEXT MOVE

Since my last update we’ve seen 2 small stop hunts. Price briefly broke down to $3,650, then promptly returned to $3,800. It then quickly jumped to $3,910 before promptly returning to the $3,800 support. This kind of thing is often seen prior to a larger move.

Zooming in on the 4 hour chart, we can see the Bollinger bands are extremely tight. The 8, 21 and 55 day EMA’s have converged almost on top of each other. This is another indication price is getting ready to move.

In today’s video analysis I discuss, where price may be heading next, traps to avoid,

HPQ HODL(ing)

The company was formerly known as Hewlett-Packard Company and changed its name to HP Inc. in October 2015 when it has decided to split itself in two in order to compete more effectively.

HP Inc. provides personal computing and other access devices, imaging and printing products, and related technologies, solutions, and services in the United States and internationally.

I really don’t know why HP, Inc is still in business…I should say I don’t know how HP, Inc. is still in business…I should say HP, Inc is HODL(ing).

HP fell over nearly 20% on Thursday after reporting earnings that missed expectations and forecasted a

The Case for a Two Month Security Deposit

Just because something is the standard doesn’t always mean it is the best option.  I’m starting to think this holds true when it comes to rents & deposits in the real estate industry.
First, Last and Security
This has been the standard for a tenant to get into a property since I can remember.  Yes, there are some variations, especially with large apartment complexes having move-in specials and what not, but in the end first, last and one month security is the default.
Is it time for a change?
I know a handful of investors that have taken a different route in recent years.
