Does The Guppy Work On Steem As Well???

The Guppy Multiple Moving Average (GMMA), developed by Daryl Guppy, an Australian trader is a technical indicator that identifies changing trends.  The GMMA combines two groups, a short-term and long-term set of moving averages with different time periods.

Another great feature of the GMMA is its ability to detect the strength of the trend. If the separation of the moving averages are wide, you typical have a strong trend. 

If the separation of the moving averages, typically denotes a weak trend. Lastly, no trend is denoted by the moving averages being flat/horizontal.

Here’s why I decided to pass on this trade set-up:

I don’t like all this trading in this range, a sign of equilibrium between sellers and buyers.

The origin of the move down (yellow) couldn’t take out the previous lows (purple).

As of result of price action not taking out the previous lows, the Reward to Risk was only 2:1. I’m looking for a minimum Reward to Risk of 3:1, but ideally a minimum of 5:1.

I have been using EOS Lynx and you can actually create an EOS account for $1 on lynx, HOWEVER Token Pocket allows multi chain and I can view my EOS account and my ETH account. This is big for me as I hold BAT and I can view it all from one place.

I believe I will be using this wallet going forward. I will still keep the others on hand but this one’s presently takes the cake!

In Elliott Wave terms, Kcash began a wave one (blue sub-waves i-ii-iii-iv-v) advance on January 10. The red wave one finished on April 7, and the red wave two (blue sub-waves a-b-c) correction ended on April 11. If this wave count is correct, Kcash should be heading next towards the April 7 peak in the red wave three.

Wednesday was the first settlement day for Lyft shares and hedge funds were salivating at the opportunity to short the stock. Short sellers shorted over 6 million shares which represented about 20% of the available shares outstanding.

At the time, price was at $72.

NOTE: that line at $42 is there because Michael Ward of Seaport Global Securities thinks Lyft’s current valuation bakes in “overly optimistic” assumptions about the transformational nature of ride hailing and thinks price is headed to $42.

The current price of an average gallon of regular gas nationwide is up 35 cents in the past six weeks.  According to gas price research company GasBuddy, the average price of a gallon of regular gas has reached $2.58, which is the highest price since November.
