Forex Analysis Report 2-5-19…Goldman Sachs Expects More Declines On USD/CAD

Analysts at Goldman Sachs offer key technical levels for trading the USD/CAD pair in the coming days.

“The next interim support is down at 1.30-1.2974; includes the April uptrend as well as a 1.618 extension target.

There are a few technical resistance levels down to 1.2890 but believe there is scope for a decline.

Consider selling into 1.3282 no higher than 1.3350. Confidence below 1.3206. Next in focus 1.3120. Scope to retrace between 1.30 and 1.2878.

BITCOIN may have reached already its bottom

This is the BTC/USD weekly chart (BITSTAMP Exchange) and Relevant Strength Index Oscillator aka RSI indicator.

What could extract from this chart?

We can see clearly 3 long BEAR MARKETS despite since 2012, Bitcoin has crashed and rise 13 times with many of those falls larger in percentage terms than the latest 2018 correction.

Also, having a look on when the RSI has marked an OVERSOLD condition, it seems evident to discover that the first and the second LONG BEAR MARKETS finished at the very same point on which RSI touched that condition:

Actually if we zoom-in, the BEAR MARKET 2 touched two times

Bitcoin Technical Analysis: CONSOLIDATING BEFORE NEXT MOVE

Bitcoin continues consolidating right on top of the 0.786 fib level. It’s been testing the top of what appears to be a falling wedge, but has yet to break out above. Volume remains weak.

In today’s video analysis I discuss, where price may be heading next, a possible trade setup I’m preparing for, traps to avoid and so much more. I hope you find it helpful.

In Elliott Wave terms, Metronome began a wave one advance on December 13, 2018. The red wave one (blue sub-waves i-ii-iii-iv-v) finished on January 7 this year, and the red wave two (blue sub-waves a-b-c) correction ended on January 28. If this wave count is correct, Metronome should be heading next towards the January 7 peak in the red wave three.

Today I noticed unusual options activity in Pitney Bowes.  In particular there was of ton of put option buying at the $6 and $7 strike price that expires on February 15th.  Thus, there options are considered very short dated options that expire

BITCOIN: The Eternal Falling Wedge

For the moment, BITCOIN is keeping a constant volume around 5.4b$, the “Falling Wedge” pattern still seems to be the more adapted to the current chart.

RSI oscillator moving inside the “safe” zone, nor oversold neither overbought conditions are in play.

As you can see in the chart, an “A-B-C” correction is still on going, last leg, “C” seems to be composed by 5 sub-waves from which the 5th is just in formation. This Five waves are disposed in a Falling Wedge Pattern which, as soon as BTC reaches the vertex , the likelihood of having an upwards movement increases.

About one week ago, I talked about Gold and how the next level gold was going to was the $1330 daily supply level.

Metal Analysis Report 1-26-19…$1330 In Sight

So after basing for the last three weeks, gold finally broke out and closed above the pivot high. Next stop $1330…but this is only the 1st stop.

Gold finally hit the daily supply at $1330 and as the chart suggested, is pulling back.

“We are big gold believers here. Now gold is at $1,300, we think gold is going to $1,400-$1,500. We suggest that everybody have a little bit of

Zooming In

What I like about this zone is its a level on level zone. Meaning as price left the zone it actually formed another zone as indicated by the yellow circle. Price has already reacted to this lower zone as indicated by the wick (pink zone) denoting sellers in the area.

Because price has been making higher highs and higher lows, this is a counter-trend trade. The trade set-up is offering at least a Reward to Risk ratio of 3:1.
