Seem like it’s going for the 4th leg down within the mini channel, likely to test 3300 support zone. Possible bounce of the support zone or the previous low of 3100 zone to form maybe a double bottom W pattern. Feb tends to end off bullish.

Going for the 4th leg down likely to test 3300 support may even test for 3120 for a possible double bottom W pattern on 4hr chart. Feb tends to close off bullish.

4th of July fireworks?

I swear that date is coincidental – though I’ll be that first to admit that it is conveniently useful!

First things first
I’m laying my bull flag theory to rest. It was nice while it lasted, but that “flag” has now become far too long, too tapered and too low down relative to the “flagpole” which preceded it. Ergo – it isn’t a bull flag. This means that the post “BTC 29 Jan – still on track” is now invalid.
BTC may have been on track, but now it’s derailed. It is still in the same channel (previously called

Crypto Contest February 7: Vertcoin

Vertcoin (Bittrex: VTCBTC) has broken out of the triangle pattern in the weekly chart.

(Chart courtesy of Tradingview.com (log scale))
Elliott Wave Analysis
In Elliott Wave terms, Vertcoin began a wave one advance in November 2016. The red wave one (blue sub-waves i-ii-iii-iv-v) finished in October 2017, and the red wave two (blue sub-waves a-b-c) correction ended in December 2018. If this wave count is correct, Vertcoin should be heading next towards the October 2017 peak in the red wave three.

(Chart courtesy of Tradingview.com (log scale))
Looking at the monthly chart, I believe Vertcoin is currently in the red wave three (blue sub-wave iii).

Unusual Options Activity In Array BioPharma

Things are just getting started in the Pharma-Biotech takeover frenzy.  That’s because the biotech companies are selling at a discount.   For example,  Bristol-Myers Squibb BMY agreed to buy Celgene this month for a 32% premium. Eli Lilly LLY, announced plans to buy Loxo Oncology for a 66% premium. GlaxoSmithKline agreed to buy Tesaro US December for a 58% premium.
Array BioPharma develops cancer drugs including a recently-launched therapy for melanoma. It has potential therapies for several cancers in late stage development, including colorectal cancer and melanoma.  And it has partnered with big pharm companies such as Bristol-Myers Squibb, Merck, Pfizer, Novartis

Is TWTR a Buy Here?

TWTR has beaten earnings expectation on the bottom line and met the expectations on the top line, but is coming into market open down 8+%. I would say this is surprising given the price action, but I am not surprised at all. TWTR has a tendency to run up prior to earnings…and shit the bed no matter if the earnings are good or not.
I have been a longterm supporter of TWTR, and in fact have been o nthe platform for multiple years. I think it will continue to grow and has finally righted the ship after “being drunk” for multiple
