Ripples in the fabric of XRP

Ripple is having a torrid time lately with FUD clearly affecting price. But is it just FUD, or is there more to it?

By now you know I’m no fan of Ripple. I’ve openly spoken about it and against it on multiple occasions, most notably in my series: “Ripple: we need to talk” (Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3).

I have warned, over and over again, that Ripple is centralised, closely aligned with crypto’s arch-nemesis (banks) and is unsustainable. I’ve stated that it can’t be defined as a real cryptocurrency. In my eyes it is much the same as JP Morgan’s own coin offering.

Tesla Disappoints Once Again

Tesla reported first quarter earnings last week.  The results missed both, earnings and revenue expectations.  Tesla lost $702 million or $4.10 in earnings compared to $494 million, or $2.90 a share, compared with a loss of $3.35 a share a year ago.

Tesla Inc’s stock price fell
5% on Friday and fell 14% for the week to its lowest since January 2017.

Daniel Ives of Wedbush cut his rating on Tesla TSLA to neutral from outperform, the equivalent of buy, in a scorching note that reflected equal amounts of frustration and despair.“In our 20 years of covering tech stocks on the Street we

Elliott Wave Analysis

In Elliott Wave terms, Nexo began a wave one advance on September 6, 2018. The red wave one (blue sub-waves i-ii-iii-iv-v) finished on December 4, 2018, and the red wave two (blue sub-waves a-b-c) correction ended on April 11 this year. If this wave count is correct, Nexo should be heading next towards the December 2018 peak in the red wave three.

Are You A Believer In The Bitcoin Rally???

According to a Twitter
survey conducted by crypto bull Thomas Lee, 24% of Crypto Twitter inhabitants
believe that the signal, which typically hints at a bull run ahead, is a trap
and that it is time to unload some Bitcoin. A golden cross occurs when a 50-day
moving average crosses the 200-day moving average from under on the daily
chart.

EToro Senior Market
Analyst Mati Greenspan opines that a bull run has been confirmed. This is based
on the fact that Bitcoin has broken the $5,350 resistance level, turning it
into a new support area:

As proof of the unreliability of using technical analysis to predict prices of tradeable assets,

This is What you want an IPO to look like $PINS

Pinterest is On Fire! After going public a little over a week ago you have seen $PINS make new high after new high. After not going public last year and the banks pricing it lower than expected due to interest you can see what those banks know. The public wanted it!

$PINS was priced at the lower end of the range due to lack of interest. Well, it opened at 24 and is now a 30+% gainer for the public. This is how an IPO is suppose to look. This is what you want to see….not this immediate selling on the

TSLA is a STAY AWAY unless 260 is taken back

Sometimes the closing prices and charts give you a CLEAR understanding of supply and demand especially when considering assets on a long term timeframe. I have been a TSLA fan for years, not going to lie. I still like the company, I still like the vision, I still like the CEO, but I do not like the chart. This is unfortunate because I want TSLA to survive because I like the idea of Luxury Electric Cars. But You can’t just hop on the ship here…

The Chart is showing a disaster of a breakdown here. It has been range bound for

Ford’s Earnings…Not Really Built Tough

Ford announced first quarter earning in which net income declined, to $1.1 billion from $1.7 billion. Earnings per share were $0.29 cents per share, down from $0.44, but better than expected. Also, revenue fell to $40.3 billion from $41.9 billion a year earlier, but higher than expected. Beating the expectations were enough to send the stock 10% higher on Friday, it’s best one day performance since 2009.

“North America’s EBIT improvement was driven by our F-Series, despite new competitive challenges; Ranger as it came to market, and Transit America’s best selling van,” Ford CFO Bob Shanks told investors on a conference

Allocation Lesson for Traditional Investment Accounts

Reallocating your investment portfolio is something that should be done atleast annually, but probably every six month at a minimum.
A good friend of mine is a successful financial advisor and he told me that they always reallocating their clients portfolio when warranted, which basically means when the allocation percentages get out of wack due to the increase (or decrease) of a given asset class.
50/50 Allocation
He told me that they automatically rebalance their clients portfolios to 50/50 continuously. Meaning, 50% of an account in invested in different stocks and the other 50% is in fixed assets, such as bonds.
Most people have
