Liverpool Now leading Manchester City with 5 points

The defeat of Manchester City has made Liverpool lead them with a margin of 5 points. These two teams are the most serious teams to watch out this season because they dont give chance to any small chance they get. They actually make good use of it when they get those chances. Now it will be very difficult for Manchester City to close up the gab but it wont supprise me if they close it early because both teams are really good. And when they close the point that is where we will see the strongest lol. I will end here for today, I will bring you more news tomorrow God willing have a good night stay bless.

Bad Weekend For Manchester City

Hello everyone, This weekend was not good for Manchester City after losing 3 goals to 2 to the newly graduated team Norwich. It really shocked me when I saw Norwich leading two goals within the first half. So it made me felt like wow why have they sold the match or they are seriously playing the match. But all the same its all good and is football and football is a game of chance so when you get your chance just make good use of it that is all. Thanks for your time have a great day.

DIY gates and fencing – recycle old gates.

She ain’t purdy but she works. Another image heavy post, this after I culled a few!

Let’s jump right into it, gates are up and dogs can now be let loose in the back yard without going into the street, WINNING!

A note on rawl bolts and quality

Also known as sleeve anchor bolts it seems. I bought a box of 10 at the hardware store, on the box it showed you should use a 14mm drill bit when installing them, I did not have one so picked one of those up too.

When installing I noticed they were awful loose in the holes, as if the drill bit was oversized. I managed to mess a few of them up as I tried drilling a smaller hole, eventually I ran short on this fence post, so bought a few loose sleeves from another hardware store. I only needed the sleeves as I still had the bolts that were left over from the ones I destroyed.

Lets take a look at some pictures, first picture you will notice the nut that’s inside the sleeve is almost at the top.

The following hazy photo id of the sleeve I bought loose. See how far down the sleeve it is?

The only deduction I can make is that the box of bolts I bought were really cheap and nasty and undersized. The loose sleeves I bought went in snug with the 14mm hole and I could feel they were tightening up much sooner and had more bite.

OK, boring I know…

Miranda do Corvo on fire

There was a fire near us and for some time there were a fleet of firefighting planes going overhead. Every so often the five (yes 5!!) planes would fly overhead as they picked up more water to dump on the fires.

I only managed to get two in one shot though.

Moving the fence

The length of fence was attached to a pole, which by this point was hanging on for dear life as Roxy, the bigger dog had been digging a hole right by it.

I had attached it with some simple binding wire a while back.

The bush had managed to go through the fence, so getting it loose ended up being more of a struggle than I expected.

Eventually I got it loose and boy was I relieved that it was long enough to make it to the post I had installed. After much pulling and dragging and stretching I had figured out where I wanted to anchor it.

I had explained in my last post, but heres a picture, showing how I clamp the fence to the wood using screws and the roofing washers.

Close up view shows a bit more, I install the screws in such a way that the trap the fence, so pulling it up, or down, left or right won’t free it up.

Because I want to be absolutely sure you get it, here a photo of the screw in the washer pre-installation 😉

French drain access hole

After getting the fence connected to the post, I cleaned off some of the sand and muck from the cement, should have done that first!

I actually found the cover that would be used to pump out the ‘stuff’ from the drain if it gets full. I had been wondering where it was and found it quite by chance.

I pulled the fence to once side to clear it, so that if we needed to get it emptied, the fence would not be in the way.

Day over, it rained

It had been threatening for a while, so I decided to pack up before my tools got rained on and got soaked.

As I took this photo, after having just finished packing everything away it started to drizzle. I had made it just in time!

I took a break on the terrace and tried to get a photo of the rain, but it’s lost in this photo. Whilst I was a bit disappointed that I had not finished I was thankful that the rain would at least be helping the firefighters a bit in their task.

I heard from my wife the next day that it seemed the rain was what helped the firefighters get the blaze under control, so all good in the end.

I was sitting outside and was about to start writing this when the rain subsided, I decided to take my chance as I could get away with fewer tools in case it rained again.

Support needed

I anchored the fence into the cement slab, so that it would stay out of the way.

I used a simple plastic wall plug here as it is not under much strain.

The fence had enough tension on it to pull the post away from the gate, so much so that there was a very noticeable gap. I did not like the look of that so grabbed a length of wood we had dragged in from the forest next door and made it work as lateral support for the fence post.

Final bits to do were to add some cross bracing on the gate, it was still quite flimsy. I too two lengths of brandering that I had taken off of the terrace roof and put one on each side of the gate, so that they crossed over in the middle. The wood that the gate is made up of is quite soft, so I added metal washers to the screw head, so that it would tighten up against the wood and not get pulled all the way through.

An example of how the wood had already split, the washers worked well enough even on such a damaged piece.

Finally I cut a hole in the fence by each of the latches, so that you can open it easily no matter which side of the gate you are. This gate was done.

As I was packing up I thought I should add a lateral brace on the front gate too, so did that as quick as I could as it was about to rain again. It does not look too bad from far.

So my gates are up, I bought a few rawl bolts, screws and additional latches. Pretty much everything else was re-used from the original gates or from other stuff I had salvaged.

Not pretty but definitely functional, have you managed to reuse something lately?

Ethereum Chart Showing Positive Signs

The month of September had been constructive for ETH. If you look at the chart you will see three positive things occurred with price.

Break of Down Trend (descending triangle)

As you can see from the blue down trend line when price pushed down to support in that 168 area it was open to hold and then push the descending line.

This led to a modest bounce before a retest.

Retesting of Support/Down Trend Line

After the modest little bounce, two things happened: price testes the support line and tested the down trendline, which both happen to be at about the same price.

Anytime you get a break of a trend, a successful retest of it is always welcomed and considered positive price action.

Higher Low Formed

After the retest price pushed higher into the mid 180s or so and then had a small pullback briefly dipping into the 170s. At which point price has pushed higher the past few days.

This is important because in order to have an uptrend you need to see price create higher lows. Which just got one now we need more.

Price needs to stay above 180 for this recent price action to keep it’s positive tone, in my opinion.

The next upside target would be around 200. We shall see what happens the rest of the week.

STEEM did not MOON after HF 21-22 BUT metrics are looking better. Check this out !

Dear Steemians,

As I wrote in previous blog posts, I reinvested in STEEM ahead and after the HFs.

After cruising, interacting and curation Steemians posts, I can say now I like the #newsteem better than the old one. This is a feeling but I believe people came back to the platform and interractions / payouts are less skewed thanks to some bots switching to curation and some whales “playing the game”.

Below I am going to share with you some datas that I believe should make us optimistic about STEEM future.

As seen in @penguinpablo ‘s statistics (link here)

  • Accounts transacting are increasing steadily since last week to reach 39,647 on week 36 of 2019 (vs 34,958 the previous week)

STEEM Power up !

  • Most importantly, the Net Power up was STRONGLY positive last week at +977,939 ! Something we didn’t see for months !
  • As shown in the tables below, Week 33 saw the biggest net power up at 363,873 STEEM over the past 8 weeks.
  • To add to these great numbers, other Steemians (as myself) have been BUYING STEEM on Exchanges ! More than 1,145,000 STEEM have been purchased FROM exchanges

In addition, do not forget that @steemit inc. announced they would pause their power down for a few weeks which should help STEEM prices.

Daily Users

Looking into @arcange statistics I could also some good news, Active users remain stable and sit at the top range of the past weeks (c.40k daily). If we continue to promote and curate good contents, these numbers could be finally increasing and sit passed 50k as it used to a few months ago

Transactions on the STEEM blockchain are also healthy and should remain high as many projects continue to onboard users (@steemmonsters, @actifit, @steemhunt, @appics, @esteem …)

Maybe we are sitting at the bottom, only time will tell, but overall I want to emphasize that this #newsteem as much higher changes to go up than before for all the points mentionned above.

I know that you all probably believe in STEEM if you read this, we have to continue to get the words out as some of us are doing on Twitter or other social medias.

What do you think?

I would love to hear your opinion on this subject. I will set a 10 STEEM @steem-bounty to open the discussion.

? Bitcoin Price Indicator May Signal Next Leg Higher

History looks to be repeating itself in the bitcoin market, as a key indicator’s bullish turn could mark the beginning of the next meteoric price rally.

The world’s most valuable cryptocurrency’s price action seen over the last eight months is very similar to the moves seen in 2015, according to Bitstamp data. For instance, the bitcoin bear market ended near $3,100 in mid-December 2018 and prices built a base below $4,000 in the following three months before breaking into a bull market on April 2.

Notably, the bear market drop ran out of steam two months before the 50- and 10-week moving averages confirmed a bearish crossover (in February 2019).

? Binance CEO: Bitcoin Futures Platform ‘SAFU’ After Attack False Alarm

The CEO of cryptocurrency exchange Binance has dispelled fears a bad actor had attacked its newly-launched Bitcoin futures platform.

Technical error crashed Bitcoin price

In a series of tweets on Sept. 16, Changpeng Zhao, also known as CZ, initially warned that the exchange’s futures were under attack from one of its own market makers.

The perpetrator allegedly crashed the BTC/USD order book from $10,324 to $10,024, in what Zhao said was the second such attempt at an attack.

Binance launched its futures platform in invite-only mode following a user testing period earlier this month. Two platforms were originally available, with users voting for their preferred choice.

? Bitcoin Mining Power Hits New High as Half a Million New ASICs Go Online

The computing power dedicated to mining bitcoin has hit yet another new high, suggesting that more than 600,000 powerful new machines may have come online in the last three months.

According to data from crypto mining pool, bitcoin’s two-week average hash rate has crossed another major threshold, reaching 85 exahashes per second (EH/s) around 19:00 UTC last Friday. Meanwhile, mining difficulty also adjusted to a new record of nearly 12 trillion.

Notably, both figures have jumped 60 percent since June 14, the data shows.

Bitcoin’s mining difficulty – a measure of how hard it is to create a block of transactions – adjusts after 2,016 blocks, or roughly every two weeks. This is to ensure the time to produce a block remains around 10 minutes, even as the amount of hashing power, deployed by machines around the globe competing to win freshly minted bitcoins, fluctuates.

? What Bitcoin’s Valuation Says About Its Volatility

Most of us think we understand the term “volatility.”

We digest headlines about tense political situations around the world; we are wary of explosive chemical compounds; some of us have had relationships with their fair share of ups and downs.

“Volatility” implies sharp and unpredictable changes, and usually has negative connotations. Even when it comes to financial markets, we intuitively shy away from investments that would produce wild swings in our wealth.

But volatility, in finance, is usually misunderstood. Even the most commonly accepted calculation is often incorrectly applied.

? OKEx Delisting Monero, Dash, Privacy-Cryptos Over FATF Demands

The South Korean arm of cryptocurrency exchange OKEx is removing support for five major altcoins due to new international regulations.

FATF rules halt privacy coins trading

According to crypto news outlet The Block on Sept. 16, OKEx’s Korea unit will halt trading of Monero (XMR), Dash (DASH), Zcash (ZEC), Horizen (ZEN) and Super Bitcoin (SBTC) on Oct. 10.

The reason, says the exchange, is that as since they are focused on privacy, the coins fall foul of new guidelines set out by the intergovernmental body the Financial Action Task Force, or FATF.

As Cointelegraph reported, the sweeping changes to crypto transaction rules demand businesses to identify the two parties sending funds to each other if a transaction is worth more than around $1,000.

STEEM Trading Update by my friend @cryptopassion

Here is the chart of yersterday :

Here is the current chart :

Today, we continued the bounce started yesterday. We have higher lows so the trend is not broken, even we have a low volatility. I think most of altcoins are also waiting to see the direction that the BTC will take and this is why most of coins are very quiet these last hours. However, there is nothing negative for the STEEM today, exactly like yesterday, se we can again enjoy about these positive news.
